Hi everyone,
This recurring design lab meets every two weeks for everyone interested in bioregional mapping and, ultimately, creating a bioregional atlas.
Group Homework! – each session, find one “Bioregional” map that you feel like representes your home place, and share it with the group. A bioregional map means using maps that share the stories that are important to us, that are often left off traditional maps, or share an element that grows from the physical and geographic realities of a place.
We’ll be talking about recent bioregional mapping updates we’ve each been working on and also resources that we want to create, including:
– A Bioregional Mapping Handbook
– A Bioregional Mapping Presentation
– Adding key pages onto the bioregional atlas website, including each of our bioregions.
