Whidbey Island welcomes Regenerate Cascadia on October 17 as part of their month-long 14-stop activation tour through our bioregion – Cascadia and the Salish Sea!
ReGenerate Whidbey
A local Cascadia Bioregional Gathering
Let’s gather to weave people and organizations on Whidbey Island to discover a pathway for regenerating our Cascadia bioregion!
Tuesday, October 17, 6:30-8:30 pm
Soundview Center
432 3rd Street, Langley, WA 98260
The gathering will include a 45-minute slide talk by Joe Brewer, a regenerative design activist, followed by community sharing and connection. The intention is to catalyze a renewal of community spirit and collaboration across local organizations and networks. This will happen within the context of the larger Cascadia Bioregional Activation Tour. Check out the link to get a sense of what we are a part of. There will be an online summit for the whole region in November.

Regenerate Cascadia is working to address the social and cultural causes of the climate crisis to undo the cultural and ecological damage caused by colonization and overconsumption. We recognize the Regenerative Movement as one of the most potent narratives for healing our beautiful earth. What we do locally on our island is critical, and what we do in our bioregion creates even more impact and hope. Let’s explore what’s possible.
We intend this to be a beginning – an opening to deepening conversations that will unfold through future gatherings and other events throughout the bioregion.
